DB2 (Magic xpi 4.6)
If you select DB2 as your Magic xpi internal database (DB2 runs on the Windows operating system), the Database Support screen opens.

For DB2 databases, you must run the Magic xpi scripts to create the database tables later (see the Readme.txt file that is located at: <Magic xpi installation>\db).

When you create a DB2 internal database, the user and schema names must be the same.

In the Target field, type the target for the DB2 database you are using. The target is defined in the DB2 client software. It defines the computer where the DB2 database server is located, the user, and the user’s password. For information on creating targets, see the DB2 User Guide.
Click Next to proceed to the Summary screen.
