Variable Properties (Magic xpi 4.5)
You can use the data from variables as a Source or a Destination. All variables available for the project are displayed in the Source Properties or Destination Properties dialog box. You should select the variables that you want to use:

If you use a variable as a Source, you use the data in the variable to map to the Destination. In the dialog box, select the variables you want to be available for mapping.

If you use a variable as a Destination, you update the value of the variables when you map Source data to it. In this case, you select the variables that you want to update in some way.
The Properties pane contains the following properties:

Enter a name for the schema.

Description

Enter a description for the schema.

Variables
|
Click  to open the Source Properties or Destination Properties dialog box. Here, you should select the variable(s) that you want to use in the schema. All variables defined for the project are available in this list.
