Description

Deployment (Magic xpi 3.x)

After you finish developing your project, you should transfer it from the development environment to the deployment environment. After a project is created and tested, copy the project to the deployment server. To ensure a smooth deployment, it is important to be aware of the following issues:

Setting up a project in the development environment so that it can be deployed quickly. (See Preparing the Project for Deployment.)
Setting up the file structure in the deployment environment so that the files are identified. (See Deploying Magic xpi Projects.)
Setting up a database so that it is recognized during deployment. (See Database Issues.)
Manually configuring the Monitor for deployment. (See Manually Configuring the Monitor to Access the Deployment Environment.)

Note:

To run a project in the deployment environment, a production license is needed. (See The Magic xpi License Structure.)
