Database (Magic xpa 3.x)
The Database field specifies which of the physical databases available for the current installation will be used to execute the SQL Command. SQL Commands can be issued to only one database, and cannot refer to the repositories residing in two physically separated databases. To obtain a data view composed of repositories in more than one database, use Magic xpa’s built-in support.
To define the SQL Command’s source database:

Position the insertion point on the Database field.

Zoom to the Database List. Only SQL databases are listed in the Database List.

Select the database to be used for processing the SQL Command.
Exception: A space database cannot be a source database for a Direct SQL command. As of V3.1, Direct SQL can be used for execution commands (commands that do not retrieve records).
