Record Level (Magic xpa 3.x)
As the end user browses through the task records the engine executes the Record Prefix and Record Suffix logic units.
Just before a record is parked on, the Record Prefix logic unit is executed. The Record Prefix phase lets you perform preliminary activities that are required before the end-user enters the record. For example, you may perform some calculation on the newly entered record to notify the end-user of potential discrepancies.
On leaving a record that has been updated, the Record Suffix logic unit is executed. You can use a Record Suffix logic unit to perform any logic required to conclude the modification of a record.
If you want to have the Record Suffix executed regardless of whether the record is updated or not, you can set the Force Record Suffix task property to Yes.
